Ok anyone with pics of how they welded a 3" pipe to the T-3 Exhaust flange would be nice.

I have a T-3 Exhaust flange and I can see no problem welding a 2.5" down pipe to it.. but 3" goes all the way to the outside edge of the flange. With welds how would you bolt it up?
I saw a picture of one but couldn't see how it was welded.

I'm a hardcore do it yourselfer.

I will be building the downpipe, I just don't see how to put 3" on it. I really don't want a 2.5" downpipe and then flared to 3" for the rest of the exhaust.

Any help would be appreciated.
