You can run about 215-220 Hp max on them...if you use the ECU to get fuel enrichment. I used a Vortech FMU and a bigger pump...with an MSD boost retard box for my timing. It works great, and I run 8 psi all day long. The water cooled I/C helps a lot too. I asume that I'm at about 235-240 crank Hp. I run 13.90's with this setup at about 103-104 mph.

Pump is 200.00
FMU with recalibration kit is 240.00
MSD boost retard is 150.00

If I were you, I'd spend the extra 50 and get the intank pump. I made the mistake and got the out of tank one.....It's very LOUD! lol

on a friends turbo system, the engine began leaning out at 205 hp @ 5psi.

what was his fuel pressure? by restricting the fuel return line with the FMU and adding a bigger pump, you can force more fuel through the stock injectors. My fuel pressure spikes to 78 psi at 7 psi of boost. I can actually flood the engine with a bigger plate in the FMU at 8 psi of boost. There's a civic in turbo magazine that's making 270+ hp on stock computer and injectors with the same setup I have. Some may see this as "ghetto tuning", but I haven't had any problems. I'm sure you couldn't run more than about 10 psi on this setup....but...at 8 psi, I'm plenty happy!
