Ok well maybe not, but here's my new Rota Slipstreams in Bronze. I originally wanted the black one's but decided upon these since I don't really want to play into the civic jdm style. Input? http://www.matt4nissan.nismo.org/images/newside2.jpg

i like the rota's (or spoons), but i found out that spoon copied off regamaster, so i dont think that theyre honda only rims

Anyone who calls a cheap, strong, *12 pound* 15" wheel ricey does not know the meaning of rice. These wheels are the anti-rice choice. It's just a bonus that they look good too.

Nice wheels, dude. I plan to get a set of bronze C8s in the spring myself.

Those rims are awesome, where did you get them and how much did they run you?

Well I take the good with the bad. Anyhow I will be rolling on these wheels for a while until I can save up and buy the 18's that I want. I sold my SSR's to my roomate. It's hard getting used to looking at 15's again but in all honesty my lack of love for the looks is put to ease when I take a trip through the gears. I can truly get a feel for my car's performance with these wheels. And if you think they're rice oh well. Can't please everyone. I bought them from a store in Orlando. I SHOULD have ordered them but I'm an impatient guy. So I paid $450 for them, and then foolishly another $50 for the lug nuts. Luckily though I know a shop near me that sell really nice usd 15's so I got a set for $60. Don't worry the 18's will be back...

Do your homework. Regamaster makes the the Spoon rims you think that Spoon copied.

ROTA copied off of Regamaster.

Knockoff wheels.... just like my Kosei K-1's(copy of Buddy Club P-1's)

Knockoff wheels can be light, but are they as strong as the originals?

BTW, this isn't a knock on you Matt, all you need now is some sort of unpainted front lip on the bumper and you'll complete the SPOON look. SPOON + SE-R = SPOONER? hehe j/p

I think you're referring to Slipstreams on a Nissan. There are SEVERAL Nissan owners on this site that have Rota's. I just ended up with the slipstreams. As for the grille I'm in the process of deciding what to do with it. As for Rice rice baby, is that what you would have playing in your car as I blew past you like you were sitting still? The wheels serve a purpose, and they happen to do it very well. So sorry it's not your stilo dogg

Rotas work, and they work well:

Matt, don't listen to the 'Oh, it's not JDM this, or JDM that' guys. I don't buy into that crap, anyways. The Rotas may be copies of X wheel, and I don't care. The transitional handling boost provided by the lighter weight is the real attraction, IMHO.
These wheels work, and I like the way they look on my car.

That's my stilo, dogg. :D

hey Matt, did you get a chance to weigh the new rims w/ tires? i was just curious how much of a diff they are from stock ser rims. TIA

Matt

No I didn't get a chance to weigh them. But if you figure that they weigh 11lbs and the stock wheels weigh 15. They are really light though. I need better tires since the one's on there now I can burn 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
