I know I posted this in members rides but I thought I'd go in to more detail about the new setup for those of you running the disco potato.

Many of the people running the disco potato choose to run it clocked like the avenir turbo's where the outlet points downward. With this setup we are forced to come up with a solution for running the IC piping and still avoiding the factory fans and radiator. Originally I had a 90 degree silicone coupler in place however I did not like the thought of the boost hitting a brick wall. I bought a 2" cast aluminum 90 degree elbow from road race engineering and had John from O2Induction go to work. John cut off the original end of the turbo outlet and welded the new elbow in place. He went above and beyond by cutting off the other end of the elbow to fill well the inside of the fitting and machine it smooth. He then welded a new flange on the end to hold a coupler securely in place. Couple the new fitting with a hump coupler and T bolt clamps and I feel much better about this assembly and hoses not blowing off.

Looks good!

My potato is clocked this way and I have a straight coupler going to a 90° bent IC pipe. The problem with this setup is I have never been able to get a leak free connection between the turbo and coupler, due to clearance issues with the motor mount.

I do still have that coupler for sale in the classifieds here. It is probably better/more secure than your current setup. There is a pic of how the setup looked with the coupler in this classified.
