: Thomas Fox & the ONLY NX specific performance part

I would just like to thank Thomas Fox (SUBCULTURE) for doing the leg work needed to get us an NX rear tower bar.

I finally got off my ass and slapped it in yesterday (I don't pay much attention to my junker NX - winter car). The part works great to eliminate various rattles and inspires confidence in the turns. The car is much more solid now. I've had a custom rear bar on the turbo car for a while and expect it to handle well but I got used to the sloppiness of my junker. Now its harder to get a slide out of it. It just drives through the turn. I guess I'll have to go up a notch on the Nu-Tech adjustable rear sway.

The part is of good quality, the install is a breeze w/no mods to the interior. I'll be posting pics and such on my site (http://www.gonzonx.com) soon.

Thanks Thomas for (as far as I know) the only NX
specific performance part (I don't count body kits). Except maybe my Remus muffler...

Thanks also to Mike Saiki at Motivational (http://www.motivational.net/)
. Any good aftermarketer putting out parts for the NX should be supported.

Hear! Hear! I now have my Rear Strut Tower Bar for the NX and one for the SE-R. Fine quality work! Instructions and installation pictures for both models (NX / SE-R) would be most helpful. Thanks again Thomas and Mike for putting together such a long awaited part. Too bad there was not more interest in such a quality and functional product. The SR20 community owes you both a debt of gratitude! Keep up the great work!

Focus,

Follow the link in the first post, last sentence to Motivational Engineering and give Mike a call. The last time I spoke with him I was left with the impression that he only has a few extras to sell for the NX. But, if the demand was there he would make more for the Classic SE-R and NX.

You all are welcome. I'm just surprised that no one tried to have one made before.

The part is of good quality, the install is a breeze w/no mods to the interior.

The production bar is thicker than the proto-type. Also, the Hiem joints are secured better. Also, it looks like we met our goals of an easily installed STB that would require minimal, if any, interior mods in order for it top work. :)

The SR20 community owes you both a debt of gratitude!

Welll, just get me an SR20VE, and we'll call it even. J/K :D

Thanks Thomas for (as far as I know) the only NX specific performance part...

Hmmmm, I wonder if there's a way to stiffen the chassis of T-Toped NXen:confused:

What does "Bump" mean?

It means to move back to a previous question. This is the first board (car related) that doesn't do that?

Apparently so. I've never seen it before. And I'm on several car BBS.

Bump, would mean that you are "bumping" the post to the top of the forum list so that a question you had would be seen by people who only read the newer stuff.:o
