Getting a little frustrated now
the SE-R search has been on since September now,
So far all that has come up is:
A 98 in Timber Frost, good shape, but ugly colour
A Green 95 with 150,000kms leaking oil,
A White 95 Drove Amazing, but was starting to rust in a few spots
A Red 98 that was a 5hr drive from my area, (Im not driving that far to look at a car)
And now a sweet mint condition white 98.... but its auto
ARgh!!!!
It looks like im limited to a 95 or 98 here
in 97 it looks like they werent sold here and I am yet to see a 96 for sale.
DAMN CANADA!!!!!!!!!!

Ah,,, the dreams of Putting in 91 Cams, a sweet intake and upgraded ECU into a SE-R are starting to fade away.....
by the time i will find one I will be able to afford the 2002!!

Patience my son!!! haha, jk. It took me 3 months to find my black se-r 3 years ago. I saw it at a dealership. Then it took me another 9 months to get my blue one that I have now. I had to fly out to the midwest for it. You should see if you can have a car shipped out to you. I PNWser is selling his car. I took a ride in it and it is very very nice. Good luck trying to find one, and dont worry they will be around. If you end up getting something else, they usually start to show up. So dont do that. Patience is a virtue.

The Timber Frost is a cool color. I've only seen one, Chris Bryant's '98 SE.

Why don't you join the Canadian List and have 30 sets of eyes help you look for a car?

Luckily, you're in the most SE-R rich area of Canada :) Personally, I've helped 4 people buy SR20DE cars here in Toronto.

It took me 3 months to find mine. Ended up finding it at a Honda dealer, How odd is that. :D I remember someone posting the sales/build figures for the 200SX's and in 97 they only made 1500 of them.

I got mine at a Toyota dealership. It's a 95 Cloud White w/ 100000 km, and I'm going to guess it's the same white one you were talking about... it had a spot of rust just below the trunk. The dealership cleaned up the rust, and fixed up some stone chips as part of the deal. Other than that, the car is in amazing condition...

Try subscribing to autotrader.ca, and have them send you an email whenever a new SE-R ad is put on their site. Then get over to see it ASAP... they go quick.

Good luck

Yep thats the one, Car was in overall great condition i found, it rowed gears like it hadnt been abused one day in its life, and it went right up to the red without hesitation. Interior seemed Immaculate, overall nice car you got there buddy, Kind of dissapointed i never picked it up, So what did they let it go for??
Oh and make sure the rust on the very edge of the rear fender was cleaned up properly, I have seen some nasty rust on nissans, and it generally starts off right there.

OH and dont worry the 200sx search page is my startup so i check it out every time i open my browser :D

I talked them down to $9700 from $10900... much lower than the blue book value. They cleaned up the rust completely... I do see a very small spot showing up on the other side of the car (same location) but I'll get that fixed up soon.

I went in there the first day
he told me i could have it for 9800 if i took it before they put it in the auto mart. I said I would think about it and that 9800 was more of a starting point.
That car is in nice shape, I examined the paint, If i were you i would take a clay bar too it, especially where the bra was, Then put a few good coats of wax and it will look damn clean.

My 98 Sentra SE is for sale. It is in Kokomo, IN, about 3 hours away from Detroit. I'd be willing to drive it to Toronto for you. It's not quite a 200SX, but the only difference is that is doesn't have 2 doors, but 4. Same body, same powerplant, everything. Nicer front grill though. I got a 93 NX2000 with no payment so I want to get rid of my Sentra because it has a payment and I don't need it anymore. I owe $9000US for it and that's what I'm asking- just enough to pay it off.

All options except ABS and auto (it's a 5-speed of course). Let me know if you are interested. bendavis@sr20deforum.com

I drove three hours into south Jersey for mine, awhile back. After owning this car I would go alot further to replace if I were to do it again.
