In a previous thread, someone was saying that DET's are available in Toronto for $1500 cdn.

Well, I might be getting a DET sooner than I thought, so if anyone could please tell me where I could get a good, quality BB DET in Ontario for a reasonable price, let me know.

I had thought that the dets would be a lot more affordable as it didn't carry the sacred "H" but Lucky Star here in toronto wanted 5k without installation. I was truly stunned, perhaps its from all the queers in civics wanting the engine?

I talked to a guy who paid $4000 installed from Lucky Star. SebNX was saying in Montreal they are cheap, like $1500 cdn.

Anyone else have suggestions??

Dude, beg, borrow or steal a truck and go to Montreal, and get in on this group deal. The more there are, the cheaper it will be. Deadline is February, and there are a ton of guys in it (but not me yet).
