I polished a stock de heat shield and painted it with clear high temp. after about a week or two it turned yellow. I know there is a seal called zoop seal to prevent oxidizing, but I don't know hoe it holds up to heat. It works great for oxidation though, I have it on my intake manifold

Damn i went and bought some VHT high temp Clear coat last night, its good up to 1200 degrees F. I wonder if it would still yellow up if i use it. I'll just leave it bare if its gonna look like -ish after a few days. Any other suggestions.
