Was reading the articles about people using the B15 tranny on their B13. Was wondering how much boost or horsepower the ranny is estimated to take? Will be swapping a Pulsar SR and wanna run 400+ without those tranny issues..

Look at his setup, its down in his sig. That turbo is ginormous, plus cams, plus a huge FMIC.

no. it is almost exactly the same as yours, just slightly different gear ratios.

the gears are 15% stronger than yours, but the case, the case is much much stronger. the reason trannys break third gear, is the case flexing and causing the whole tranny to flex under heavy stress, this causes the teeth to strip off of the gear.

Just curious if you think it's worth welding the case on a B15/P11 tranny or would you not bother?

If you have SE-R what do you need to do the tranny swap from a P10 Tranny to P11 tranny?

Ok Now my other question is with a b14 tranny how much horsepower can that hold up to?

People can break trannies at all different types of horsepower. Its a matter of how much stress you put on it, clutch, and if you slam the gears everytime you get a chance. Just go easy with it especially in third because its like popcorn lol.

you can break the tranny at 200whp easily. if you stay out of third gear, it can last 100000k miles, if you beat on it it may last 100 miles.

The point is yes you can baby your trans if you want and it may hold up a little better but babying your car totally defeats the point of having a performance car. The best solution is to get a b15 trans. 2slo4u a b14 is the same as a b13.

interesting, could you use any other gears?

That is what happened to mine, same circumstances, rolled into third and boom, but it was my clutchnet disc that ripped apart, not my tranny.

you are the first i have heard of to break a b15/p11 tranny
