I know that I will never be the fastest or quickest but who has run the quickest 1/4 on street tires? I think I may be able to pull off a 12 pretty soon

Good question. I would think that a high-12 would be about it for *street* (no Nitto 555s, please. Real street tires only.) tires, IMHO. Hell, 13s are tough enough on *street* tires, without spinning all over hell and high water.

Drag radials? 12s should be no problem. Real street tires....hmmm.

Judging by your trap speed, I'd say you're already in the 12s. Get some 555s or better yet, slicks, and find out. :D

geez, thats pretty fast. What kind of drag radials are you running?? I went out once to the local crappy track at 3500 ft elevation, and tried running 12-17 psi of boost on my crappy Ecsta 712 tires! I think my best 60 foot of the night was a 2.45, hahahaha... 13.9@111!

I did my 1.98 60-ft and 13.89 run on skinny 'ol Nitto 555s, 205/55/14, at 16psi. Still had wheelspin, but nothing like when I *tried* to run on the Bridgestone RE71 street tires. Unmanageable, to say the least!

My 13.4 was with a fmax stage 2 kit and s3 cams. Other than that everthing was stock. I was running nitto nt-450 street tires. Not drag radials. I have run 17 lbs of boost and ran a 13.8 . When I turned it down to around 14-15lbs is when I started to hit the 13.4-13.5s. I am upgrading to a bigger turbo and hope to hit a 12.8-12.9. I will kep you guys posted if I pull it off.

My father do 14.1 @ 112mph with 17's yoko parada.

13.15 @ 115mph on .... Nitto 450's !!!!! pump gas, nothing tricky, just like I drive it every other day. A 12 should be cake for most turbo SR20's with some decent performance oriented tires. 60ft was a 2.4 if I recall correctly. Jake from Washington ran a 13.1x with a stock DET (still the T25) and some decent radials.

btw- I had 205/45/16's... Fmax stg 2, S3 cams, 9:1 comp. 1.1 bar

Compared to the Nitto 450s (which are terribly un-grippy tires. I had 'em, oh-so-glad I got rid of them.), the 555 drag radials will seem like slicks. Get a set. They grip very, VERY well, and will lower your 60-ft times dramatically.

You can also launch much higher with them. I launch at 5,200-5,500 rpm.
