Hi, I'm looking to buy a catback for my 200sx and I want to know which one is the better for the price.
Forget about the GReddy or the HKS they're too expensive for my budget. I saw a Megan Racing catback, someone can gimme a feedback on this one ?
Also, I want something not too lound to avoid being spotted by the cops
Txk !

i heard the megan racing comes out like 2 inches to long for the b14 and youll need to get it cut down.

im also looking for a good exhaust (not looking for a budjet one ***)
i had a custom, and its shit, i need somthing thats proven to be good. and im thinking 3 incj.

no just heard many good things about it on other peoples cars. they have not been out long but are gaining many new customers every day.

the only thing I heard about them was they were a bit loud.
But I maybe found a cheaper alternative ... a Bosal midpipe with a Magnaflow Street muffler ... looks very good and cheap. Of course for the muffler you'll need to weld it but every muffler shop can do it :)

I 3rd the Stromung, but again it ain't cheap

not to be a dick, but I suggest that you go all out on something like an exhaust, sure it's nice to save some bread, but you'll run the risk of your car sounding like ass

humm ... yes stromung seems to be a good choice.
Where can I get a price for this catback ?
I tough about a ordinary midpipie (like Bosal) with a Magnaflow exhaust, maybe it can sound good but I really don't know ...
Is the Stromung is cheaper than the GReddy and the HKS ?

www.mossyperformance.com

They (Greg V) sell the stromung for B13/14/15, that's where I got mine and the service is excellent.

But again, be prepared to dish out some bread for it, mine was 595 shipped.

Oh wait, the GA16 system is 2", the std. SE-R system is 2.25", and you can get custom 2.5" and maybe higher, there was a group buy here a while ago I think. Ninety-Nine SE-L has a 2.5" stromung on his B14.

dam it's the same price as a HKS or GReddy ... I think I'm gonna think about another solution because these catbacks are too expensive.
Maybe a Megan Racing ... or just the Stromung muffler without the midpipe and resonator ....

Stromung is better than HKS or GReddy because it's all stainless while the former are aluminized. Also, the others scream riceboy with their huge ass tips.

For a good price, the VRS piping kit is good. All stainless with a stainless magnaflow muffler it will run less than 300 beans.

But the VRS kit is 420$ in stainless. Maybe I'll juste buy a Magnaflow muffler with a aluminizied midpipe ... I think for now it's the better thing to do because I don't want to pay 420$ for a catback. It's costing me too much now because of my swap lol
