For the hybrid T3/T4 turbo that seems to be the setup that most people are using, would I be better off to keep the S4 cams I currently have and purchase cam gears to move around the powerband or to swap the s4 cams for s3's?

I know that many people are succesfully getting large gains up to 40hp from the S3 cams depending on boost.

Would the duration of the S4 cams be too much compared to the S3 to cause overlap or will I be able to squeeze out more hp from using cam gears with with the s4's and turbo.

Any suggestions for this newbie are welcome. I think I'll try the cam gears unless this has been proven unsucessful.

If you are running a T3/T4 turbo then the S4s will work great with or without cam gears. If you get cam gears and have some time you will be able to get a little more HP from the S4s. S3s are great for T25, T28 and T3 turbos. Smaller turbos do not like to much overlap but big turbos like cams with more overlap at high RPMs. Stop listening to people talking out of there ass and listen to some one who knows. If you want a little better advice on turbos than me Rob Cadle is the man to go with but he will probably say the same thing I am telling you.
