on ebay, i'm looking into arospeed spark plug wires, red. i was wondering if this is a good name...and if $31.00 sounds good. what do you guys think?

IM running them and they have been great so far! I have the yellow and I figure for 20 bucks cheaper than OEM, why not run a bigger wire?!?!?! A friend in town is running the blue set on his DET'ed classic and loves them! :D

Of course, 4 days after John says that, his car doesn't start with them on it, but does with OE wires. Stine's car sounded real bad, and the boots didn't fit well.

You can prob' do a search on here on those wires. There was a thread once a while ago that stated most aftermarket wires suck.

The best wires for the SR20DE's under normal aspiration and low boost are OEM. They have been proven to work. There is more on www.se-r.net about this.

If I am not mistaken there were some who had there cars worked on at some shop in Cali. (???) and the only thing that the shop did was put a set of OEM wires on the car and it solved many peoples cars problems.

Yep, pissed me off to no degree too. Under 2 months old, never gave me a problem at all and Ill be damned if those things were gone!!! :mad: Arospeed..... Aroshit!

Don't feel bad it's not just arospeed. I had a set of magnacores, and at the Florida meet we went to replace my valve cover. First wire pulled out fine. Second came apart, along with the third and the fourth. THANK GOD, Serban had a set of OEM's. That would've been a loooooong walk. I miss the 15+hp they gave though..:D

And also, since I'm here replying, I thought I would share my wires experienece, I am using Accell wires, I've had them on for over a year..and no problems at all. I got them from Summit racing for about 50 bux I think.

One last thing, Anything that Arospeed makes, I will not buy. I had a set of Arospeed springs, and I swear the front didnt get lower at all, the back was really low though.
