a couple of friends of mines are going down to *** track in 3 weeks. and one of the guys has been boasting about his 93 hatch with a type r motor w/ a cold air intake everything else is stock but the motor is bolted to a ls tranny. and he's been wanting to run my car. read my sig it shows what i done to my car. do i need more work done to my car. cause i was gonna do a port polish and blueprint the motor so that i can install my new pistons. should i start doing the work or will i give him a run for his money.

you have no chance of beating him,even if he was the worst driver and you are a good one he will blow by you in 3rd gear,type r in a hatch is an easy low 13 second car,with your mods and a good driver you can maybe break into the 14.9 range :(

type r hatch should own you, all day. even with an LS trans.

go vvl with those mods and ull be able to see him.a type r is a 190+ hp motor in a 2100 lb car..i have ran 13.5 with just bolt ons in my old crx with a gsr and ls tranny..get a 75 wet juice and ull beat him.a bb would definitely beat him at 9 psi

NOS wet nitrous kit on ebay for $450 shipped...I woulda had one on it's way if it wasnt for seasonal employment...This snow messed me all up...Anyway...If you want to beat your buddy you'd better drop a Neo VVL in, Shell out 2500-4000 for a turbo swap or drop in the bottle...a 75 shot would give you about 225 at the motor...In a 2400-2500 pound SE-R that would even things up pretty good

aite i'm just waiting for my car to come home then i'll take pictures. i think i might save up till after the summer and i'll do the major motor work in the fall. cause right now. i got other plans to get my car cosmetically right. but dont worry i'll keep everyone informed on my progress
