Ok guys this is the question i was reading a import mag and i saw a 240sx. With like 800hp it was running a lot of JUN parts like a 2.2 stroker kit ,t88 turbo ,big IC and cams plus a sleve kit ( any info on the sleeve kit would be nice ). If i remember right and the sick part is that they drove it on the street. I know they did more than that but. Why has no one doen that with our cars fwd. and could you put a t88 one a se-r its the same sr20de just a Turbo.. thanks any info would be good thanks..

Two reasons:

Money
And Transmissions.

There are some guys on here that are running in the 400+ HP range that just cant seem to get a tranny to hold even that kind of power. It would be scary to see what twice the power would do to one of our trannies.

All that stuff costs a lot of money and i sure as hell don't have enough to do it. heck the 2.2 stroker keit alone is like 2000 by itself.

Give it some time and i am sure someone will figure it all out. Heck if you go tthe time and money then go for it.

Later
Rick

Toda Racing sales a stroker kit along with JUN, and Greddy. Toda also sales 2.2 litre stroker kit for the low, low, price of $4,900.00 bucks!:eek: :D . But they do have cams for our engine for a reasonble price, I think about $289 a cam in different durations and lift. Check out the website, and also check out the race engines there are two sr20 race engines that they produce, they claim they are not for sale or for street use in the USA, but i do know of one show car using their engine.:D www.todaracing.com (http://www.todaracing.com)

And what car would that be? I'm actually a big fan of Toda, I'm excited to see what their cams can do. Their track record is impressive.

And also, the uh Jun Silvia is simply awesome, I don't know what else could be said about it......

A show guy by the name of Non Fujita has a 240SX with a Tomei (TODA) SR21DET. Talk about a $10,000 motor. I have an import ricer (Tuner) mag. that has all the details on his car, pretty tits if you ask me;)

Here's the skinny on the motor. Words taken from Import Tuner.

Tomei SR21DET.
"Mill is based on a balanced Nissan crankshaft. Bore and STroke are increased to 86.5x86MM which gives it a displacement of 2021CC's. The block gets forged Tomei rods, bolts, 8.0:1 pistons and rings, Tomei ported head, cams, valves, springs and retainers. Non is running an HKS GT2835R turbo mounted to an HKS manifold. "

Now that's a motor, and to think it sits in a show car, I would LOVE to see that thing on the track!

And who said Import Tuner mag had crappy coverage;
