is there a differance in the high/low power steering hoses/placment in the 1.6L engine. the high pressure side of the power steering hose on the b13 i just bought is broken (the part that bolts onto the right side strut tower) and i need the powersteering to pass inspection and for daily driving.

yes. i replaced my pressure line. pepboys sold me the one for the 1.6 which definately did not fit my 93 se-r. different hardware/different length hose. so after pepboys selling me the wrong item for the last time, autozone sold me the correct one. i think it was like $40.

yea, i figured it out as i was poking around/cleaning my engine bay last afternoon. went to advance auto and they said it was $40 so it will be in at 1PM on thursday :biggthump

nice. git er done. i had a hell of a time reconnecting the line at the bottom. you gotta kind of twist the line while bolting it back in. you sorta need 3 hands or really skinny arms. i hooked up the top first, you might want to try the bottom first so there is more play in the line to twist. you'll see what i mean. good luck!
