Will a 91 B13 tranny fit on to the 96 B14?

It will bolt on, but there will be nowhere to bolt the crank angle sensor that the B14 has bolted to the trans case (the b13 CAS is built into the distributor).

If you wanna do it ghetto, then no. If you want to live with a CEL on, then go for the B13 trans. I say find a B14 trans, they are around...plus they aren't as prone to 5th gear popout like the B13 units.

Actually for the Info .... the CAS is in the Dist. on the b14 also , the CAS thats on the trans is ONLY for misfire detection for OBD 2 ...... You can make a B13 Trans work , I have done it a couple times , Just need to drill 2 holes , tap one and space the sensor ... Not to bad ... But takes some tools ....

I have done this before. The B13 tranny will work fine in a B14, but all you have to do is to do it measure and drill a hole for the crank position sensor and mounting hole. It works just fine with good measuring. Be sure and measure twice and drill once. :biggthump

yeah but what are you b14 guys doing with b13 transmissions...we switch to YOURS normally, since all ours do is throw 5th gear...

I dont think b13 trannys have a vlsd. Not a fitting issue though.

yeah we have VLSD....you just have to make sure you get a RS532V, and not a RS532A
