Dont remember exactly what their mounting depth is. I'm installing my 11 Ov2 this weekend!! Punkrocka436 04-24-2005, 12:39 PM Actually, B14's have a good amount of mounting depth to work with. You can fit 2.5" depth, and a 6.5" diameter speaker. I would definitely look into Elemental Designs. I have the eDi 6500 components (re-badged CDT HD62's- 450 dollar components) that go for around $315. They also have the eDi 6000s components that go for $150 which is probably right in your alley. The 6500's have a 2.75" mounting depth. I had to use a spacer made out of 3/8" plywood, but the door panel goes back in perfectly and these speakers sound amazing.
