Well I just started to put my brand new rear Progress rear sway bar in tonight, and lo and behold: there is absolutely no room whatsover to even think about putting a bolt through the holes on the moment arm. The ends of the bar don't even come close to lining up with the heim joints and the bottom of the strut is in the way of everything. What the hell am I doing wrong? I've seen pictures of others, but nothing looks as bad as mine. When I put the female end of the heim joint in the U-shaped bracket, it pretty much hits the sway bar. The geometry of everything is wayyyyyyyy off. I have pictures but I'm frustrated and tired and have not got around to hosting them yet, (I've only got 5mb of space and the pics are about 1mb apiece and I'm already using up half of my allowed space, so I need to play with them in photoshop...) anyway, help?

It's tight, it'll barely clear the strut, it'll end up just below it. You can get a free account at www.photodump.com and host them there. Once I can see some pics I can probably help you.

looks a lot like this from behind except that I have the longer setup with the hex head bolt in the back, giving me less room than this car even has. I'm going to try cutting off part of the male end of the heim joint.

Those pictures he posted are not actually his but I have explained to him how to fix his problem with the swaybars.
