What's up guys? I'm in the process of buying a BB DET Motor and want to put the Hotshot turbo kit on it. Any recommendations on the Hotshot kit on the BB? Also, does any one know how much power will it push?

Buy a Pulsar GTIR manifold and turbo with Jpipe and oil and water lines. you will get better turbo responce with the same HP and get it for a cheaper price. I have that kit if you decied to get it.

On DannySE99's car that you did what motor did he have? and how much was that set up you did for him run for?

Hey I emailed you awhile back but never got a response. Hey how much could you piece together a turbo kit for me for? I've been tossing around different options for a very long time. I've pretty much settled on the Hotshot kit....but if the price is right I might just order the setup you just explained. I've been trying to get through to Hotshot to check availability of the kit. I understand there isn't many available.

You'll have to let me check out your setup since you're only up in Jersey. I'll have my DET in a week and the kit in 2-3 weeks.

Another stupid question here. Why would you pay the $3K for a hotshot turbo kit when the DET comes with a turbo?

Because a Bluebird DET's T25 is only capable of 225-230 whp! :(

A Hotshot kit on a DET can produce up to 300 whp with the right size T3 and fuel needs.

Hotshot kit for DET install (downpipe, intake, FMIC, BOV) is around $1300 or somewheres. Call John at Hotshot and find out.
