hey guys, does anyone have pics of their Nx with their intercooler? (detailed pics will be appreciated)I need some tips on how to get a BB intercooler on without having to cut too much off my precious car.

while its not recomend by alot of people to keep it top mount, I did, if this is what you are doing, and you are cutting the hood, get cardboard cut it the size of the hood, then cut it where the intercooler is, then take the cardboard and use it as a template to cut your hole for the inter cooler, well thats what im doing but then again I have two hoods if I screw up.

actually Im going with the front mount setup.( I don't have the guts to cut my hood :eek: ) good luck with your top mount setup and let me know if you got any tips for a front mount.

what IC are you going to use?

It all depends on The size IC you get, if you get a big IC you will
have to do some work to get it in there. if you get a smaller one you may not have to do too much.

This fit was after some real work to the bumper.

The bumper is flat at the bottom so I dented it up.

Depending on what IC you go with you may need to even cut the center of the bumper out.

Has anyone tried converting the GTi-R intercooler to a front mount on an NX? A guy I know is in the process of swapping a GTi-R motor into his car and wanted to use that intercooler as a front mount. TIA
