This is a public service announcement. I spent weeks picking out wheels, and did a ton of research. Ultimately it came down to ATS Complites and Kosei K1s. While I elected to go for the K1s, the Complites are every bit as good of a wheel. Its light, strong, and stylish. Im not so sure if these wheels are made any more as they were VERY hard to come by. Just so you guys know, GFORCE has ONE set of silver 15'' +35 offset in stock. Hit them up ASAP and ask for Pete!

^^ Lol. I knew you would chime in, Jim :)

Those are the comps for those who do not know. They are lightweight and the right offset for our car.

Ooh, I wish I had a pic of mine on the car, I put them in service wrapped in 205/50-15 Azenis 2 weeks ago (bought them as summer/autox wheels). When I bought them I didn't care for the look, I just got them because they were cheap and light. The more I look at the car, though, the more I like them. They look a lot like BBS RKs in person. I have always liked that wheel on bimmers, and our body shape is about the same as an E30, so they look very appropriate on a Classic.

How much do the Kosi K1's weigh?
I was thinking of getting Konig Helium's they weigh 10.5lbs
are the Kosi's lighter? And do they come in gunmetal?

13.5 lbs for the kosies. When you purchase these wheels, you are paying for the combination of strength and weight. To me, the kosei k1 provides the best mix of these two properties. While the konigs may be lighter, they are also a much weaker wheel. I have heard and seen way too many horror stories of people bending Konig Heliums and hardly ANY bad stories about the koseis...and they have been around for years. They used to come in gunmetal though I do not know what size it was or if you could find them anywhere. As 98sr20ve informed me in another post, Tirerack is the only US distributor of these wheels. Good luck and keep researching! It took me awhile to make a good decision. Look into ATS Complites as well...they do come in gunmetal and are light and known to be rock solid for a reasonable price.

Refer to my original post mang. It has the number there for you to call. When I contacted these guys a couple of weeks ago they only had one set left, so if you are serious then I would call now :) These are fabulous wheels.
