If so, i want to use the stock coil and an MSD Digital 6+ box, basically for the two step function and the better spark. Anyone use JWT's instructions to hook it up? Looks pretty easy but i just wanted to verify that they were correct. The link to the instructions are here:

Thanks!

Yeah, its super easy. I ran a digital 6 but ran into problem with idle and misfire. I switched to a Crane Hi6 and couldent be happier. But hooking up the ignition is easy. Just make sure you have a good ground for the ignition, preferably the battery.

I ran a digital 6+ 3 years ago on my turbo B14 - awesome ignition!!! The two step combined with the timing retard are awesome for building boost at the line!

You also need to use this page http://jimwolftechnology.com/wolfpdf/MSD%20TO%20SR%20240SX.PDF to eliminate the possiblity of a CEL.

I had a MSD 6AL on my b14. It was a easy install but it seems that Crane may be a better match for the Nissan. Mike K was testing the MSD and it had some funky interaction with select Nissans. Thats all I know really.

I thought that was specific to the B13, though, Steve? I could be wrong, but I thought Kojima mentioned he had no issues with MSD on the B14 (just on the B13).....?

no one has problems with MSD on B-13. Only some B-14 have problems with them.

Not according to Mike: http://www.nissanforums.com/showthread.php?t=9540&highlight=Crane

So use the Crane and avoid the issue all around it seems.

I have witnessed a digital 6 on a B14 with the dist. cap mod and it worked just fine. But since you are from the north east, you can't use it. I said so!

Thanks for the replies. I haven't bought it yet but i figured $300 shipped on ebay was a pretty good deal.

sorry to highjack but i was wondering if the drivability with the MSD and B13's would be erased if using a msd coil instead of the stock coil???? And Dave the MSD digital 6 is a REAL nice unit.....I have the 6a(got it used) and i like it, but i looks like it might be giving me that black ring around the exhaust and the stumble on light throttle!!!! LOL **** go and disconnect it right now to see
