I was hoping to powdercoat all the little brackets on the VE before I put the engine in. I have found out that the AC bracket from the VE does not work, and I have to use the one from the DE. What other brackets will I be swapping over? I dont want to pay to have parts powdercoated that I'm not going to use. This should also save me a little time having to figure this stuff out on my own. TIA.

Well I dont think I've ever seen a VE come with AC or PS lines, so those will be from the DE. I wouldnt coat those either. VE IM obviously goes with the engine. I'll be using the VE TB, not the DE.

So basically so far for brackets I need to swap over are:
-AC
-Alternator
-passenger side motor mount

Anything else? Do all the... I dunno what you call them, the brackets that the Axles go through on the VE work?

My MAF is in fact plastic, so yeah, don't think I'll coat that...

I didn't PC my brackets, but I did paint all of them w/ just spraypaint. Basically, if you have a spare DE, you should just paint all of those brackets.
