Hey. Does anyone know what the service interval is on a SR16VE. I don't really know anything about the engine as I only have the car 2 weeks. When does the cam belt (or is it a chain system) have to be changed? My car has done 70000kms and I'm gonna be doing a service on it in a couple of weeks weaher it needs it or not so I can be sure when the next one is needed. Also what oil grade should I use. Any other information would be great.
Cheers.

Chain never needs to be changed
Mobil1 5w30 every 5k KM
Check coolant levels and brake fluid levels
Change spark plugs, rotor and distributor cap

Now i have a question for you, can you go to your nissan Dealership and order a Factory Service Manual for the 16ve Pulsar? If so I need one...badly

Rotor, oh right, I know what you mean. I would price them but I know they're not available. No VE was ever available here.
