New 15x7" ATS Comp Lites with fresh 205/50-15 Falken Ziex 512's:

They are one of the eBay steals from a few months back, and I finally got the money to put some new street tires on them ($46/each at Edgeracing.com). I've been running on Azenis and balding Yokohama ES100s so long that tires with full tread look really weird on the car.

Some more from a divisional autocross last weekend:

I didn't drive well, and the car wasn't handling. Just bringing Azenis and some Hypercos to a STS fight won't cut it. However, I did take third from Julie Avard (STXL National Champ last year) by .039 of a second over two days, making it the first time I've ever bested a '89-'91 Civic Si.

Which tires do you prefer in the summer Jim? The Yokos or the Falkens? Nice car, btw. :biggthump

Ideally, I'd only be using the Azenis for track/autocross duty, but when lazy I've been known to roll around on them for weeks. This isn't a problem until a good rain falls, and Azenis go skating.

ES100s aren't bad, a good buy IMO. They're cheap and work well in rain. Not fun below freezing, but a good compromise for sporty street use. I thought they were compliant and nice-riding, but with the Falken Ziex 512's on the car, the ES100 is stiff in comparison.

These Falken 512s are soft, showing how I've been spoiled by stiffer sidewalls and butch tread patterns. They are numb on center and float at highway speeds, and track a lazy line. Great for rough local streets and around-town duty, but kind of blah for directional communication through the steering wheel. Exactly what I wanted, though. Decent grip, M+S rating, high treadwear, and amazing price.

You da man. Thanks for the mini reviews :) Yokohama AVS ES 100 for me! :)

Oh, and how many miles did you get out of your past sets of Yokos and under what kind of driving habbits?

Sorry, I didn't keep records of the miles (Tire Rack reviews might offer more clues). However, they lasted two years with no autocross, togue, or drift competitions.
