What are you going to use to switch the cams? I love the MSD switches, and mine have worked 100% since I put them in, and had none of the setup issues like the MSS users had.

You're using the pill type ones Eric? I recommend the 8696 digital box, it's cake to change the switch point, plus it operates as a tachometer, and uh it looks cool. The pill switches actually cost more than the digital one after you factor in the cost of the pills.

Although I suspect some of it is user error, after reading of so many people having problems with the MSS, I'm glad I kept it simple and got the MSD.

You should switch to the MSD digital 6. You can set a rev limit on the motor. Unless you don't want one at all :D

Does the 8696 switch both at the same time, or seperate? I'm tempted, but I don't change the crossover point that much if at all, and my setup works, and is somewhat hidden. ;)

It switches both at once. Since you're all done with your tuning, it wouldn't make any sense for you to change to the 8969, but for someone just starting, the pill type switch is $69 + $28 for the pills, and the 8969 is $89.

Cough up another $28 + shipping. They were a good idea at the time.... until something better came along.

Thats what I use, 4600-6800rpm range.

As for the 2step, its built into the digital 6, if you have it seperatly you will be able to use it with a different box. But I like the digital 6, real nice piece.
