Here is the information for these if you want to buy them (you don't have to, regular sr20 plugs will work).

Spark plug: BKR6E-N-11
The N is the difference, it has a differently ground electrode (NGK says these are for high compression/high performance motors). The -11 is the gap, which is incorrect for the VE, but obviously you can change it very easily

NGK stock number: 5724

You should be able to buy these at NAPA. Advance can also order them but you have to talk to the right person. They will have to search by the NGK part number, and they will have to look it up using "parts interchange" on the computer (I think its parts interchange, I will verify that next time im there). They are less then 2 bucks and I got them the next day. You can also order them online, and I believe through Greg Vogel. Someone may want to add this to the FAQ.

What should the 11s be gapped to though?

That's a different plug... that's for Honda motors and stuff... hence the large gap. (-11 is in reference to the gap)

That plug, if possible, should be gapped the same as a copper BKR6E, .031-.035 right?

Just because it has a different gap doesnt make it a different plug. Just gap it to whatever you want. Mines around .040

I thought VE gap was 38.

-11 is a bigger gap.Makes a hotter spark because of larger gap.I use bkr6e-11 in my ve with a BIG gap.I try to run the biggest gap without misfire ,car feels best like that IMO.

Hello guys,

Not sure about the sr20ve but for SR16VE (Pulsar VZ-R) i talked to NGK Japan and the answer was the following:

"The suitable spark Plug for Nissan Pulsar VZ-R (JN15 SR16VE) is NGK Platinum BKR6EVX.
The difference between BKR6EVX and BKR6EVX-11 is gap. The gap of BKR6EVX is 0.8 mm, and of BKR6EVX-11 is 1.1 mm.
Plug gap is decided with the generated coil voltage of each car. Generated coil voltage of VZ-R is lower than that of the car which BKR6EVX-11 is applicable. As continuing to use plugs, the gap would be wider as usual. It means if you use BKR6EVX-11, the possibility of misfire of spark plug would be getting more higher."

I noticed that the guy with the JDM Primera at sr20ve.co.uk used also 0.8 gap sparks and as he says the difference from 1.1 was huge.

Then we all agree that the suitable spark for SR20VE and SR16VE is the one with 0.8 gap..

Not trying to resurrect an old thread but I found this:

Acura Vigor. Not that I would use a bosch plug though.

Thats the thing, the bkr6e-n doesnt exist, it doesnt have a gap number. The only gap they seem to come in is 11 which is the bkr6e-n-11. You can probably gap them down. Is an 0.8mm gap on a copper plug comparable to a 0.8mm gap on iridium? Does the make up of the plug differ this at all?

It can also be confusing when you guys are talking inches and we are talking mm

0.8mm i believe is 32 here in the states.i have the coppers at .33 and its fine for daily driving/weekend dragging.the nissans ign. is strong as is.

I left my BKR6E-N-11 at the gap they were at, which was .035 (I measured them myself before putting them in). I have no misfire problems whatsoever.

Please gap them. The -11 stands for 1.1mm which is equal to .044"
