when are you moving back? and more importantly, what kind of jdm sr20 are you looking for (de, gti-r det, bb det, avenir det, 20ve, 16ve, etc)? i got a few fwd DE's (one roller rocker the rest are b13 highports) sitting that i was building on the side. i may also get a aftermarket turbo kit (t3, msd injectors, maf, etc) from a guy here so i'll have a complete fwd det set up that'll easily put down near 275-280whp on decent boost. let me know what kind of engine you're looking for. most shops here are gonna charge you at least $2300 and up for a stock fwd det. you find them on here for about $1400-$1900 + shipping to hawaii.

i'd really hate to throw out prices, PM me if you're interested and maybe we can work something out.

i'm not moving to hawaii anytime soon but maybe the summer of 2006. just wanted to see if there were any shops in hawaii that already have jdm sr20 motors. i've been starting to have idle problems when ever i stop at stop lights and is starting to irritate the hell out of me. So was thinking of getting a red top sr20de engine which doesnt have any emissions crap and swap it out with the current engine.

Dude, buy a motor on the west coast and do the swap before you move. You'll save Big $'s. And you have a year to come up with the money. This is not really a swap, so pretty much any garage could do this for you. I'm sure you can find someone to do it as cheap as 500.00. (labor only). Good luck a year from now.

Yeah I asked Revolutions motor sport how much they charge on Sat. and they said 90 and hour... (Although I may take them up on the IC piping/welding)

i believe sonics charges 600 don't quote me on it ***. i think it's worth the money because they do nothing but quality work

If you need someone to do your swap, my friend can. He does a lot of swaps not only nissans but hondas and mistubishis as well. His work is great and he did both my ps13 and my friends rps13. His motors come with warranty for the first month and he does great work, quickly. His price including shipping for the motor and all parts that come with the "package" is 5500. This includes: Exedy Clutch, Greddy FMIC, Greddy BOV, Downpipe, Battery Relocation, Labor, Shipping, actual price of motor and trans. If you have any questions send me a pm.

got a few engines from them, they have a location in california and shipping from them was the cheapest i've ever seen to hawaii. only costed $117 to ship the engine and it came in a week to a business address. the engine prices are the best that i've seen as well.
