Is the distributor on my 2001 SR20DE different than the older SR20 engines? I read the article on how to retard/advance the timing on SE-R.net, and I broke out the timing light to do it. Well, instead of turning the distributor toward the back of the car to retard the timing, it's to the front!? I even pulled to cap off to see which way the rotor was spinning. It spins counter-clockwise, or, to the front of the car. Why is my distributor different?
