KikoSanchez182 01-15-2002, 06:47 PM ahhh, so i just need to make sure and get bb det, mainly b/c i cant afford for an aftermarket i/c kit for a gti-r when i get the engine. but how safe is it? i hear that with the stock tmic, it gets overheated sometimes. SucKit 01-15-2002, 11:40 PM The intercooler gets overheated like crazy. It burnt the crap outtah my hand in the summer, this is w/o a hood scoop of course but the car never overheated and ran fine.
