What are you in the market for? You have your local car boutique on harlem, you have a drivers image in Skokie. All $$ ripoffs if you ask me. Rice shops more than aftermarket shops. They don't have many items for us, however they can always 'order' them for you from the internet. No thanks, I'd rather order them myself :)

Ay CARAMBA!

Hmmm, yah I know of those two places, I guess more of looking for a shop or something, meet guys.. learn stuff, get discounts etc..

Might be a good idea to open a performance oriented shop sometime soon...

one6 in my experience is horrible, the guy up front in running the counter is a fucken idiot. Garage Kwai next to one 6 is awesome. They know nissans not only hondas and have down tons of fwd sr swaps and turbo them. THe owner price matches jgy's price for me even. They are great.

Where is this Garage Kwai you speak of.. I was going to have my guy do my SR20VE swap manual conversion.. but now I think I should put it in the hands of someone with experience...

I wouldn't recommend Kwai, they took 9 months to put a turbo kit on my friends CRX. 9 months, and this was all paid for up front.

Oh yea, and Driver's Scrimmage sucks donkey balls too. Any kind of actual engine work, they send out to Cali to get done. They are pure rice. You know, if you ever go, pick me up a can of vinyl spray paint for $20.

i wouldnt trust steve with my car. im sure paul lopez agrees with me. :D

money talks man, even if steve is busy, for the right amount of cash im sure he will consider it. some of the well-knowledged guys here can do a job like that better than any shop and for less money.

and stop going to those rice shops, you are just keeping them in business. many of us find much better deals online.

If he does engine work I might consider taking my engine to him first to get it all nice and ready for some N/A power... and get my guy to install it..
