quick question, are the sidemarker lights for the NX and the B13 sentra interchangable?

and how interchangable are they? I do not have access to a b13 to test this all out.

well there is some bad news and some good news.
The good news is my contact is back in town and back in business for a few months anyway.
Bad new is the sidemarkers front and rear are 3 different part numbers. The fronts are interchangable left to right but "technically" not front to rear. The rear sidemarkers have 2 different part numbers for left and right.
the issue at this point is not in actually making the parts but reducing the number molds in order to SIGNIFICANTLY bring down the price into a reasonable range. (this is the reason I have not done this deal up until now).
This deal is still up in the air but ill let the whole group know when I have everything worked out officially.

fonque i put red rear markers up front on my nx. if you were to take a look at all of your side markers youll see the only difference is a lil platic tab. now this little plastic tab keeps you from putting rear side markers up front since the tab spaces are in different places. but guess what i just rubbed them shits off on a curb and installed the rear side markers up front. the writing on the side markers is the same so it doesnt matter if you install them up or down. so you would only have to make one mold. if you want i can take pics i have the side markers right here at my desk. do i get discount ; ). ha. fonque count me in for a set bro !!!!

All you need is one. One of any side will fit all 4 corners. There is no need to be specific with the clear sidemarkers. The difference is just that stupid tab which is unecessary.

Yeah see I want to know all of this compatability info for myself, because if there is any, even the slightest bit of incompatability my contact will not run the deal. And I dont blame him for not wanting to make parts that could "potentially" have a fitment issue.

No difference. Just use the front as a mold. The rear will be the exact same. Or how about this. Just make fronts if that is his concern. I am sure people will buy 2 front sets :)

well, I just took my side markers on my car and mix/matched them last night. And Ian and Stratton are right sorta, the parts are very different! but they all fit in any location except for the little tab.
The backing for the front and rear sidemarkers are different and the reflector in the housings are different. They all just physically fit.

what I will probably do is make a mold without the tab on the front marker and use it for all 4 corners. That should theoretically work. But I wont know for sure until I can play around with the sidemarkers on a sentra.

yeah i have some rears up front too, its just a plastic piece as stratton said. Get rid of the plastic nub and it will fit fine on either end of the car.
