im new here so i need lots of info from the experts around.
i have just acquired a gtir sr20 det and a b12 nissan sunny 4 door.now guys please tell me which is the best fwd gearbox to handle something like 400 to 450 horsepower.the car will be used for drag racing only so i need something which is strong.
the other which turbo and manifold do u guys recommend for this sort of power.and is there any one out there who provides a complete package for this kind of thing coz that would be very easy because where i am this is the only sr20 turbo engine that we know of.
please guys i need lots of advice and help.

look in the turbo parts thread there is a nice tranny for 3500$ or you can buy a b15/p11 tranny with a aftermarket lsd

Yes, the B15 Sentra SE 2.0. Do you also have P11 Primeras over there? If so, a gearbox out of one of them is the same--just in case you don't have B15's over there. They are proven to hold lots of power. SR20TurboFreak was putting down 500+ horsepower on a stock P11 tranny with no issues and many others run the B15/P11 tranny on high HP cars without issues. I only know of one person (SR20DETP10) who has broken one on this forum.

You should get a Log turbo mannifold. Precision SC61 Turbo with .63 A/R exhaust housing and Stage 5 wheel. 3" turbo back exhaust will help too. Its rather late here so I cant think of any more.

in the area of LSD you are fairly limited.

For the clutch, and over 400hp, you should look into the Clutchnet Type 1x PP with 6 Puck sprung kevlar disc.

ok sorry, i am "DWI" right now but i saw this post, and, sorry welcome to the forum b12, these guys are the best, are u sayin these trannys will bolt up to a gtir block (bell house) i thought are only help was jb weld(n that dont really help), but then again i did not search. but also thanks for that info Will, NICE, but what do u mean, LSD are fairly limited,? not all LSD's right, i mean posi, or a lincon locker, isn't possible, right, so well hmmmm what are options??? sorry to interupt, with my low hp gtir, thanks
