What did you use to paint them? I have been wanting to get some Black rotas simply becasue they are black, but those look SAAAWWWWEEEEETTT! You must let me in on your secret! PM or email me if you dont want to put it up here!!!! Come on....LET ME KNOW!! I would love to do that to my 17" Konig Tantrums!!! :D

but here's what you need to do, sand the rims, until they are nice and smooth, primer them, and use some high temp paint, then to finish it off, use some clear coat for the gloss!

A trade you say? Hmmmm.... you have my attention! :D

hehe...well, the black rims might be temporary, I prefer silver over black, thats just me. I dont know what I will do yet, either paint these silver again, or just sell them, and look for a silver set, or just trade someone head up for some silver ones.

But if you think we can work out something, let me know :D

Well, you know I am the picture king around these parts :D

I'm not going to say I hate how it looks with the black wheels, I just prefer the silver, they contrast more, but a white car with white rims looks better...just because it has the tires there for contrast.

But think of what you want to do, I'm still going to wait till summer if I decide to do anything with these rims, so you have some time :)

guys, heres a cheap tip, we did this on my friends Focus ZX-3.... just wash them really thoroughly with a grease-cutting dishwashing detergent and brush..... then go to the store and buy some flat black(looks MUCH meaner than gloss on a black car, IMO) spraypaint, and hit them with that.... they occasionally get a few stonechips, and we just take em off and hit em with another coat. everyone thinks theyre powdercoated, its really funny. theyre looking great after like 7 months.
