I'm trying to find more information on the H&R springs for my 91
Sentra. I'm currently running AGX shocks with the stock springs because last year I was autocrossing in stock class. This year I've decide to move to street prepared, so I'm trying to find a new set of springs (and that elusive NuTech adjustable rear anti-sway bar), and the H&R ones are the only ones I can't get much info on.

Can anyone here comment on this setup (AGXs with H&R springs) or the springs themselves (rate/drop)? I do not want to lower the car too much, especially if the spring rates aren't high enough to keep the car off of the bump stops.

Thanks,

Aaron

ok since you autocrossed on the agxs only for a year you know about our travel issues. H&Rs are no different than any other lowering springs and 1.5" is too much. sooooo how about you drop in a request for some hyperco springs group deal. I did the same as you in autocrossing on agxs for a year and now im ready to move up. these springs have a 300/200 spring rate and should only lower an inch... that is provided that they go thru and the deal works out. ill even provide a link to it...

now that im done being a salesman, i would imagine that the H&Rs are the best of the manufactured lowering springs which is not to say much. they arent very stiff and i believe they are progressive which might prove a little troublesome in autocross. all they provide is lowering and that is in excess. someone that has them could maybe tell you more but that is my impression.

I had a feeling they were like all the other springs that lowered the car without increasing spring rate enough to keep it off the bump stops.

Yeah, I heard about the hyperco spring deal, thats exactly why I'm holding off buying anything. I guess I'll just start this season with a new rear sway bar.

if you have the money and are truly serious then go and post so that they know there are enough of us( or at least one more ). i hate to be such a salesperson but this is why nothing is done for the classic, we are all to busy being cheap(myself included, why do we all buy pacesetters! :D ) . if we dont get at very LEAST 25 people then we are just toying with Hyperco which they are a little peaved with us already. i promise this is the BEST spring we could possibly purchase
