I'm about to place an order online for a Pacesetter cat back exhaust system (OEM exhaust is about to burst).

I'm pricing them from summitracing, Nopi and JCW. All of them use different part numbers for the same exhaust - or so I think it is the same exhaust.

Can anyone verify that there is only one Pacesetter cat back exhaust system for the 91' SE-R 2.0L? And if so what that part number is?

The pacesetter website is absolutely no help.

There is only one. You should be able to call each vendor and tell them what your car is and what you want - I got mine from NOPI and didn't need a part number.

Stine,
how loud is it? Am I going to be getting fixit tickets?

it says it's for the 1.6 but it should fit. just remember it's a 2 1/4 pipe not 2 inches.

I didn't feel like it was really louder than stock, my wife says it is *** (a little). I couldn't tell you about the tickets; I'm not sure we even have them here in Cincy, but no one has given me the evil eye yet. I figure some of the boom-boom stereos around are still a lot louder than my exhaust, so screw 'em.

The muffler on the PaceSetter is a double-pass, louvered design, quieter than a straight-through IMO.

when i put mine on and still had the stock ex. mani, it was just a tad louder than stock, but sounded good. after the header, it sounds like there is a hive of africanized bees in my b-pipe:mad: oh well though, it was cheap and made a nice SOTP difference
