Well after 3 long and hard weeks apart I got my baby back!

Front spoiler has been installed and the car received some TLC through a full respray $$$. Unforunately it has to go back next week to have the final light sand done so I'll have to wait until after that to get some more picture of it nice and glossy. :biggthump

Has anyone got any ideas on what to do about the indicators? For the moment I've put some amber globes on and wacked the indicators in where the parking lights sit. It works for now but not to sure on its legality and wouldn't mind having my parking lights back...

Here's some picture before it got sprayed, I'll put the news one up when I get back from holidays ~ Mid July. Ideas on the indicators are welcome ;)

Before I got it resprayed I thought chroming the handles and fuel cap would be fun... Worst idea ever :confused:

I didnt even look at your location. But from looking at the pics I could tell you werent from the US! How about some angle shots of the front so that I can see how the car looks as a whole with that Integra kit on it.

that bumper would be extremely hot if it kept the original NX headlights, I guess if someone knew fiberglass they could pull that off, just not a fan of the different car look, at least keep it within Nissan, IMHO.

It was a pain in the ass fitting it! For no apparent reason I tried fitting this myself which almost ended in tears. Unfortunately these are the last pics I can put up for about 3 weeks, because its back to the body shop and I'm going to the beach for 2 weeks.

I can't imagine it would be too much work to mod this for the original headlight molds, I'd actually thought about this but the more I looked at the new ones the more I liked them :tongue: The grill next to the wheel arch is good news for a CAI too

Yeh very true about the side moldings, looks a bit wrong... Has anyone just taken these off? Might look a bit cheap with a huge gap running down the side?

A Nice coat of chestnut red paint might find itself on them soon.

I'm probably going to stay NA with this car but you certainly could wack a sizeable intercooler behind there.

looks nice,but you should put the stock side skirts on. would tie the front end into the car more. JMO.

they actually do look better with them and do not decrease visibility one bit....

^^^ i mean decrease visibility at night with headlights....

as for the turn signals... what i have on are the temporary truck ones jetspeed gave me. when you bring it back to the shop, have your stock turn signal assembly fitted to it or use the clear accord ones... they look really hot.

Excellent work re the indicators as well, I think that could be the go. Although your front looks a little bit bigger than mine and I'm not sure that I'll be able to squeeze those lights in my grills (height wise). Booooo.

Time to find some side skirts, I might do stock unless someone can recommend something well sexy?

as for the turn signals, trust me u dont wna do what i did... may look nice from the front but its kinda a mess at the back of it.

trust me get small turnies like the ones on the older accord moulded in there and you'll be sweet.

Got back from holidays thinking I could pick my wheels up today... Unfortunately I wont be getting my sticky fingers on it until Wednesday but will post up some new pics then of the sweet new glossy finish.

I grabbed the front spoiler from Sydney from www.carmate.com, they have 2 fronts and I got the 98 Integra model of it (the other one has smaller lights and is a little different).

Top work with the signals, I'll definately try and source something nice and small. What year accord had the small front ones?

I'll be grabbing the Jetspeed skirts and back spoiler in the coming weeks to finish it off and will probably get the grey side moldings sprayed at the same time.

The colour I got it sprayed in is Chestnut Red, which is pretty similar to the nissan AH3 burgundy that was on the NX, but a bit sexier :biggthump

Can't wait to get the rest of the leather in the interior! Picks up soon

I only did the handle part, and I took it to get chrome plated. I should have done the whole thing. I will do it when I get the car painted, I was thinking of chrome plaing the gas door too. Hand polishing the doorhandles are the worst, it will tarnish once it rains.
I have tips on taking taking the handles apart and reassembling them using a long screw if you are interested.

As for the moulding? Just paint the car all one color. It will blend it in.

Must admit I did steal the idea for the door handles from your goodself pretty white, I've learnt my lesson though... home chroming jobs are bad news :(

I'll be looking forward to seeing yours sprayed with the door handles and fuel cap done. Any thoughts on colour...? You should keep it white or pearl its looking pretty sexy at the moment.

I still haven't got my car back... hopefuly tomorrow morning I'll get it I'm starting to have some serious withdrawal symptons.
