Well I had ordered the t25 turbo kit from JGY Customs then shortly after ordering it and recieving my first package (The IC core and downpipe) I had read about some bad past experiences with the company. But, I figured that I would stick it out and give them the benefit of the doubt. Well I now know that was a mistake. I was told that it would take up to but no longer then one month for me to recieve my entire kit. In fact they had promised me this. Yeah well I waited almost three and that was calling every week and sometimes several times every week to hurry them up. Well I finally had had it and told them to get me the kit or I'm gonna demand my money be refunded. Well the kit came shortly after. Yeah well my car has been in the Nissan dealership due to some damage that had occured (you can read about it in the thread entitled "FUCK") so when my package finally arrived at the shop I was unable to make it down there to check it out. Well I got a ride the other day and checked it out. The manifold and what not doesn't look to bad but not that great either. The turbo however is a piece of shit. I have a hook up to turbo's direct though which is one of the biggest distributors on the west coast and they are gonna see what they can do for me. I have been calling JGY and as of yet they haven't answered the phone. Wow didn't see that coming huh? pFFFF. Well then the piping to the IC is either been done by someone that doesn't know how to do it or doesn't have the correct tools. The lines that came with the kit are shit aswell. Yeah well due to the fact that I still dont have my car back from the dealership I haven't had the chance to try and even begin to see wether or not the crappy piping would even match up in the first place or wether or not the Downpipe will fit correctly so we will see, the injectors (supposedly 36lb injectors?) don't look to nice either but, will be being checked out as they didn't come with any info as far as flow sheets or jack shit so the story will continue and we'll see what exactly can and can't be salvaged from this heap "o" crap kit...........????? As of right now it will cost me a bit under $300 to get rebuilt what needs to be fixed thus far. That we KNOW of. Anyway, I have hook up's and they will see what they can do for me as far as getting my car up and boosted and not breaking my balls anymore then they have already been busted wide open. I have learned a valuable lesson and will not be doing business with JGY ever again. I suggest that nobody does either. I am probably not going to ask for my money back as it will be a pain in the ass and already has begun to be so fuck it. So chalk another one up for those who were fucked by JGY.

Can I LOL at you while rolling on the floor. You read about all the bad experiences and you still buy and think you will be treated any diffrent. Hopefully I will get enought balls one day to sell blown turbos and tell the customers there will be no refund on used parts.

I know!!! Damnit. LOL Oh well man. I feel like a complete jack ass. I am the type of person that likes to give poeple a chance before judging them. But, damn I wish I had just gone along with what others had said. Anyway, Im just seeing what I can do now with what I have and it doesn't look like it's gonna be as bad as I thought. I will have custom lines made for free the piping problem is in progress of being fixed and the turbo is gonna be like brand new by about monday of next week I should be pretty much ready to begin install. Now the injectors are the only real thing that is holding me up. I'll be taking them to SCO to have them tested and or just getting rid of them and getting some from SCO that they have already said they have in stock and they can hook me up with. I will be getting my car back soon I am just waiting on the fuel line to get in. So by next week I should be set.

You can get he turbo done into a T28 by TEC for about $550. That would be a great option.

I bought one part I needed for my swap from them, and actually got it with no problems... no complaints on the retail parts and service (NEW stuff)... but after seeing their "professional install" of a DET in a wrecked NX I bought, I was happy as hell I decided to do my swap myself (with help from Crim, SERMadness, and JGNismoSER).

Man, you should have seen that front mount IC setup.... duct tape, rubber couplers (doubled up instead of using the right size), and the most convoluted crush-bend piping you've ever seen.

The kid I bought the car from actually drove down and paid JGY for the whole swap... engine, parts, and install.

I actually thought about doing the same thing a couple of years ago before I started wrenching. I sure am glad I didn't do it....our install is WAY better, and it was done in the driveway, not a full shop.

why do they even have their own section? lol
well i guess most of it have turned into threads bashing them. they just don't seem to care i guess, i never see them replying to those threads trying to resolve the issue

Some poeple on G20.net are talking about a boycott. Well I wouldn't go that far. I believe that if you buy things that are new then you get what you wanted but, as far as his used products yeah they are definiately used and mine happened to be a piece of shit. Now like I said I'm not trying to start a bunch of crap here I am just letting anyone else that may have purchased this kit and is waiting it's delivery or is thinking of purchasing it that YES GO WITH YOUR GUT INSTINCT AND WHAT YOU READ ON HERE. CANCEL THE ORDER OR DO NOT BUY IT!!!! Now I will say that it could be a whole lot worse. I also have to say that I was the dumbie that thought I would get this great deal. It's USED stuff. I knew that and went ahead and did it anyway. I guess that I was also informing anyone that is thinking of buying this kit that yes your an idiot if you do it. I feel dumb as hell, as I should. It was my own fault. But, the idea behind this thread was to inform thats it. NOT to bash, or get a boycott going. As of now I am moving on and doing what I need to (replacing things or rebuilding them) in order to make the kit work. I have learned a lesson. My car will be boosted soon. It's just unfortunate that it wasn't as soon as planned and will take a little more money then what was expected but, oh well. I am not going to sit here and feel stepped on and sorry for myself. I will simply make do and move on so I'm dropping this issue and I haven't got anything else to say.

Did you put it on a credit card? if so, call your credit card company and put a stop payment on it. If you send the turbo back, you credit card company will stop payment for you without much hassle.
