: What to do with my clutch?

I have an ACT Extreme PP with street disk and have had too many problems breaking Nissan clutch cables. So, I am going to buy a different PP but don't know which to use. I have heard several bad stories about ACT's HD plate, but have yet to hear any bad stories about the JWT pp except that it is soft. I need something that will be able to handle 250-300 HP at the crank.

What do you guys recommend?

I've had the ACT HD PP and street disc for about 8 months now with zero problems. I am only NA though, not turbo.

Steve:
IMHO, remove the tranny, grease the driveshaft, the throwout bearing, the fork, and the control arm. That will smooth out the disengagement of the extreme pressure plate. AF had same problem as you. "Elbow :)" Grease fixed it. Might as well resurface Flywheel while you're in there. I've got an ACT heavy duty pressure plate. Smooth as butter.
Cheers,
Charlie :)

It's not the plates that are the problem..it's the disks. They buy them from who ever gives them the best quote, and just throws them in with the PP.
