I was wondering what the diffrance is between the b&m shifter and the pacesetter shifter? i know that the b&m is new but what is the real diffrance if you have one please give your 2 cents..

I'm pretty sure that the B&M is not adjustable, while the Pacesetter is. Also, the B&M comes with basically the entire assembly so you just drop it in. Where the work to put the pacesetter is a little more involved. The B&M also comes with a shift knob.

I personally think the B&M is a better piece. That's what I'll be purchasing. I guess it really depends on if you want ease in installation or adjustability. In my case, I'd just rather plug and play.

Contrary to belief the b&m shifter is adjustable. It has three positions which claim to be street, sport, and race and they are preset positions on the shift rod that are set with a retaining clip.

Where is a good place to buy one of these shifters? I would like to know. Thanks!

summit carries them for about 130.00and options auto salon list it for 150.00, but i am sure you can find it for cheaper somewhere else Try kragen,or shuck's depending where you are at or even jc whitney:D

I had one on order from JC WHitney. Was on backorder for a month. Now it is cancelled.
Summit wants $99, JCW was $58 ($74 after shipping).

Don't want the Pacesetter. Please tell me where I can get the B&M shifter. Where have people been getting that one? Is it $130.00 from Summit?
