Bought it today with 186K [Now 187K!]
5-Speed
No Sunroof
Stock! Stock! Stock!

This is my 3rd SR20. It's been awhile. Last one was a '91 NX2000 a couple years back.

The pictures make it look nice and clean but the rust is pretty damn bad.

The car also doesn't "pull" like I remember my NX did. But maybe it's just in my head. Seems like the pull to 4,000RPM is fine, but anything above seems it has to "jog" its way there...

I'll take more pictures as time progresses... anyway, here's my new daily driver/project car. ;)

And here's a picture of my Spyder.

Stock. :)

Looks good. What are your plans for it?

Do a full tune-up, get rid of the emissions stuff, and clean up your vacuum lines. That should do it.

$1,300 later and the car's engine blew.

I just bought the car THIS morning and on my way to pick a friend up the car ended up knocking like crazy.

Not sure what to do now.

Any suggestions?

I had to pay $120 to tow it to the tow place, they said they could do an engine swap for me provided I give them the engine.

I'm not mechanically inclined, nor do I have the place to work on it. (I live in a condominium)

Blah.

What a way to end a day. :(

It's okay, thanks. And yeah, it's been awhile. As far as the alty, I just wanted something smaller again. The power was nice but I missed my NX too much.

The way the MR handles was a dream to me.

Bummer. Time for a $250 JDM DE!

Just buy A JDM SR20DE. Those engines are damn cheap in USA.
The car looks pretty nice, is it lowered? I have also a 91 black SE-R, completly stock, and mine looks like a truck compared to yours.

Romey, let me know what you decide to do. Plenty of folks to help you swap in a fresh JDM DE.
