Sorry if I missed this in previous posts, but who helped you develop your car? Or did you manage it yourself? Who welded the T3 flange to your GTi-R manifold? Is your rev limiter still 6600? Do you have a air/air AND air/water IC in there?

The intercooler that you have is a Eclipse intercooler. I hope it runs good.

A good friend of mine Joey has a shop down here. We MIG welded the flange on and used some box tubing to angle it out a little away from the block. Joey and I made the templates for the Intercooler and tacked it together. Another friend of ours put the final bead on it. The heat exchanger in the front grill is what the water from the I/C flows through to cool it down. It works awesome and regardless of it bieng a "mitsubishi" core in the tank, I havent had any noticable problems or side effects. I know it's not the best core in the world to use, but, it was what I could "afford" at the time. I don't have a zillion dollars to spend on my car because I have a family to think about....not just my car. It serves the purpose though and it cools better than an air-air. Throw some ice cubes in the tank, and it's REALY nice. Everything else on the car was done by me, in my yard...no shops or fancy tools. I met Joey about a week after I had everything in. He helped me design the I/C and get some nice plumbing going. I'm proud of the car, and it runs pretty decent. It's limited b/c I don't have the JWT ECU in yet, but, that's going to change in the next few weeks. If you would like to get in touch with Joey, his shop is "Terminal Velocity Racing" and the number is (985)-853-2862. He's currently designing a turbo manifold for SOHC Neon motors and for the 1.8L Nissan engine. He also works on rotary's and some domestic stuff. Give him a call...
