depends... mileage? Need a rebuild? If the wastegate lip isn't cracked to hell, and there's no shaft play, then I'd be all over that like white on rice..... ///H

Is this the ebay hybrid t25/t28 turbo? If so, I would watch it. Or this is t25 with t28 internals? I'm ususaly skeptical of t25/t28 hybrids. Maybe because I got ripped off and it was totally useless. (well not totaly useless, but you will get the idea.) Give us little more info. I bought 3 turbos in the past that was useless. My impulses got better of me. (had t25/t28 hybrid, s14 turbo, and this gigantic disel truck turbo. It has 1.25 a/r with t4 flange. Yeah, it would make power but when? Now I own gt2871r) I just went crazy because the price was right. Give us litttle more info on the turbo.

I would say 0 miles, no need for rebuild, no cracked wastegate lip, and no shaft play because he's talking about a new turbo. ;)

I think that might be meant for a RWD SR20 because the housings are flip flopped. Unless the picture is backwards.

EDIT: Nevermind, I just had a brain fart. Looks good!

can u recogniza the turbo as far as manufacturer?

coalitionSE-L

No. It looks like your standard Garrett, except the compressor housing is clocked funny (why I thought for a sec that it was a RWD turbo) and that wastegate actuator is weird. Also, it looks like the oil drain does not have the standard two bolt flange, instead it appears to have a threaded bung. Not a big deal, just not characteristic of most Garrett T25s that I've seen.

he also said he would sell me a T3/T04E for less then the T25/T28. they are both new.

this guy claims to be a wholesale distributor and supplies a lot of distributors in the US he said these are "wholesale" prices

PM me with this dude's info. I might look into getting one of those T25/T28 hybrids if they're only $250.

Ummm, I dont know the exact prices wholesale for those turbos, but i guarantee that it should not be that low. t2 turbos are expensive.

Sounds way too good to be true for any new turbo. Its truly not a question of size when you are talking about the price of a turbo. There is a certain amount of machine work envolved in making a turbo and I would bet that, not only is $250 less than 'whole sale' but that its probably less than 'cost' if not damn close to it.
