Hey I recently changed my oil and now I have some engine hesitation... I put in 4 quarts of oil after doing an engine flush on it.. Now I experience some sort of hesitation from 2k to 3k rpm after Im over those speeds everything is normal...Any body know whats going on with this?:confused:

The only thing I could think of is that maybe 4 quarts was too much. When I changed the oil on NismoNX2000's car recently, 4, 4.5 quarts came out, but only 3 went in to the full mark. After that, John said his car felt like it wound out smoother....

Yeah, that's definitely too much oil in that thing. Get that taken care of as soon as you can. Having too much can damage your pistons.

I didnt have time to drain my oil....but I need to fuel up.... put a tank of 93 octane in the car....and guess what...problem fixed! Anyone got any theories?

What Octane was you running before?
Have you advanced your timing.

I was using regular 87 unleaded...timing is stock I believe, havent touched the engine besides the oil change so unless the previous owner advanced it it should be in the 12-15 range. :confused:
