OK, I bought the car back from the insurance company, to let you know to begin with, the car has over 9k in damages, so, want a body panel? good, it is probably already half the size it should be so it will be easy to package ;)

So far, I know these parts are spoken for:
Brakes (f+r), struts, control arms (f+r), wheels, center console, shifter, transmission, and the steering wheel...

I have not seen the car yet, so I cannot tell you what condition it is in short of this:

It was joyridden, and someone had alot of fun. All the windows were broken, heavy front, rear, side(both) damage. And by the sounds of it it went off a cliff/dropoff on the side of the road, fell 30ft and landed on its roof.

Maybe the tops lived? HA! right. If they did, I will let you know.

Anyone? Any parts?
I will take and post pictures of the car hopefully saturday night. I am going home friday, stripping the car friday, and some saturday, and then leaving sunday afternoon so if you want something LET ME KNOW. There will be no second chances because as of monday morning ~8am it will be on its way to the crusher.

How bout your gauge cluster? I wanna convert form electronic gauge to analog *** i like it better.

did it have electric locks and windows?? if so I might be interested in them.

I suppose that the left headlight assembly is wasted, isn't it?

As someone who had my NX ripped off, I feel your pain. The thieves damaged my car but not too bad, thankfully. One thing they took is the passenger headrest. Can I buy one off of you?

Also: did the driver side front reflector survive?

One more thing: are the headlights intact? My passenger-side headlight is busted, and they're a bitch to find.

PNWser, if the a pillar on the driver side is still in good condition i'll take that off your hands.

The guys that bottomed out my car bottomed it our HARD. They cracked the engine block. To repair this would cost almost as much as I originally paid for the car--and way more $$$ than I have. PNWser, how is the engine in your NX? Can I buy it off you?

You can get an imported JDM engine for about $600 and if you're mechanically inclined swap it in a weekend. That's the route I'd go with if I were you.

IF you can get your car down to Vancouver WA saturday morning we can have a new motor installed for you by saturday afternoon.

The motor that is in the NX is a 10:1 motor, and is in good condition.
Someone has dibs on it, but I can talk to him and possibly hook you up, don't know just yet ***!

Can I have the glovebox? I need to experiment with it to put my cd changer in it.

$600? From where? That's a bit cheaper than the $1,000 engine that the mech had found. That one had 71,000 miles on it, out of an Infiniti.

I'm not mechanically inclined, but I've got buddies who are. And if it means saving many 1,000s of dollars, I'm pretty incented to become mechanically inclined.

But any info on that JDM engine would be appreciated. (what does "JDM" stand for?)
