Hey guys, I recently got my pacesetter adjustable short shift kit installed on my NX and man, it barely shortened it at all!!! I took the ball almost to the top where my bro did on his civic and his shift was a flick of the rist, where as mine, was barely shorter. much smoother and a really nice shift, it was too long. so i took the dremel to it, and a couple hours and a couple inches shorter my shift is where i want it. I took about 2.5 inches off the top. It reminds me of my del Sol shifter!! I'll have to take pics soon, it kinda looks funny cause its so short, but man what a difference. Major improvement. anyone else have the same problem?

It'd be nice to have the shifter be a bit shorter in length as well but when you have the seat all the way back, it makes it hard to reach (or you'll be leaning unconfortablly).
thats just my experience,

Dude you must have a bad feel or something. When I installed mine I noticed about a 40% shorter throw in my car and I,like you, adjusted mine to the top where the threads start to run out.
As far as the height of the shifter itself, it was about a 1/2 inch shorter than the stock shifter. I wish I would have had the time to shorten it but I am happy with it like it is.
