How do I remove the front cover to get to the timing chain area. I have all the bolts out, but this RTV liquid gasket stuff is hardcore. I have a busted engine I was practicing on and I cracked it. I can't do this on the real one. Any ideals?

haha, i was trying to do the same thing last night. there is no front cover. the tensioner pops out on the side by the oil filter and thats all you get :)

a paint scraper and dead blow hammer work wonders.

I found the problem. I forgot two screws.....doh
