I always had this question and I had 2 people answer yes. Just want to make sure about this. And also if anyone knows of a place to buy pulsar manifolds I would greatly appreciate the reference. Thank you very much.

The GTiR manifold is flanged for a T25 exhaust housing. The only way you will get a T3 exhaust housing to fit is if you cut off the T25 flange and reweld a T3 flange onto it.

I thought a pulsar manifold was for a T-28???? How can it fit a t-25? I am just wondering. Thanks

Mark--

You can get a new GTi-R manifold over at www.nismoparts.com for about $252 or so. Click on B13 chassis, then 'Turbo Upgrade Parts'. Good price.

The way I understand it (Louis will correct me if I'm wrong), a GTi-R manifold will fit both a T25 and T28 (same flange). A Bluebird manifold will only fit a T25. A T28 will not fit on a Bluebird manifold and clear the block.

Just my understanding of it. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

The T22, T25, & T28 flange is the exact same flange!

A GTiR manifold can have a either a Bluebird T25 or GTiR T28 mounted on it; it is the same flange.

A Bluebird manfiold can have either a BluebirdT25 or GTiR T28 mounted on it; again, it is the same flange, but your only problem will be that the GTiR compressor housing will hit the block.

thank you very much for that information louis. This answers my question very clearly. Have a good weekend.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the T28 really a T25 with just a larger exhaust housing?

***Not exactly. The T28 turbine housing does have a larger A/R ratio than the T25. However, the T28 has a T3 compressor housing, whereas the T25 has does not. The T28's T3 compressor housing looks like the T25 compressor housing, though. So, it would be easy to think that the T28 had the same compressor housing as the T25.

The T28 compressor housing is held in place with several bolts and that press against two semi-circular rings, whereas the T25 compressor housing is held in place by a large snap ring.

Can you grind away a little of the block with the Bluebird manifold/T28 combo and make it fit? :D

Actually, It would have to be *A LOT* of material!
