Ok, I'm going to be running a T04S 60-1 on my Ser and it has the V-band style flange/clamp for the downpipe, and I just can't get the concept on how this is going to work. Here are some pics of the turbo and clamp, I am going to link them since I haven't gotten to resize them yet and they'll flood te screen:

I was told to get on ATPTurbo.com and just buy a flange off there, but what damn flange do I buy? steel or aluminum? I want to run at least a 3 inch downpipe, and the v-band style is new to me.

If anyone could point me on the right direction, it would really be appreciated.

I can't tell from the picture but I'm assuming the turbo has a flange already on it. Then you will need to buy another one that is the same size for your downpipe. As far as the kind of material that depends on what kind of piping you are going to use for your downpipe. You need to match the flange with the material you are going to use so it can get welded.

The clamp goes between the two flanges and gets bolted down
